The Unity Cold Weather Liner (CWL) is designed to fit into any helmet with Velcro pads. It creates a barrier against the elements by directly integrating into the helmet and using microfiber fleece to keep the wearer's head warm. Unlike wearing a standard beanie under the helmet shell, the material thickness of CWL creates minimal or no displacement of pads that can cause the helmet to ride improperly. This ensures proper shell coverage of the head, alignment of night vision goggles, and fitting of communication gear. The CWL also increases operator comfort by providing more coverage to the exposed areas under the helmet shell with dual layer fleece, while the same pads that normally contact the head continue to do so with the CWL installed.
