Our Centerfire Cleaning Rod Guides are specially designed to replace your bold or bolt carrier and fit into your action. These guides possess an inserted snout with an "O-ring made of silicone which easily slides into your chamber, blocking the barrel from the receiver. This "O-ring has been included to prevent any leakage of solvents back into the action region that can cause gumming up of the trigger assembly. Currently, we offer more than a thousand different action/cartridge combinations of these "O-ring rod guides, and each guide has been machined to fit specific actions and cartridge families. These ranges from sizes from .17 to .338 caliber. However, some rifle chamberings do not support "O-ring style rod guides; for such cartridges, we recommend using one of our Adjustable Cone Style Rod Guides.

To better serve our customers' cleaning needs, we have improved our Sinclair "O-ring rod guides. We have upgraded them to include integral solvent ports. This modification is now associated with every centerfire bolt action rod guide, and almost all AR-style rod guides. If you prefer a rod guide without an integral solvent port, kindly reach out to us through our email or phone, and we'll be happy to customize a rod guide to your preference. The absence of the integral solvent port on the rod guides will be treated as semi-custom.
