The latest version of our Model 1000 Flash Hole Deburring Tool is now constructed with stainless steel and chip clearance slots to prevent chips from accumulating in the cutting shaft. This tool is easy to use by inserting it into the case mouth and letting the web of the case act as a safety stop. A few turns of the tool can remove any burrs from the flash hole and create a small chamfer on the inside edge. This deburring is a one-time operation and can be performed most easily on new brass without trimming.

The 05-1000 is the standard Generation II flash hole tool and consists of the cutting shaft and tapered guide. If you prefer a larger handle, the 05-1255 version includes the Sinclair large grip handle. For those who already own our previous Model 1000 Flash Hole Deburring Tool, the large Sinclair handle is available separately as the 05-1320.
