The Sinclair Two-Piece bore guide system enhances cleaning precision by utilizing a guide within a guide. The guide body is inserted into the action and secures the chamber with an O-ring, much like a conventional bore guide. A secondary guide slips into the rear of the guide body, providing a smooth fit for the cleaning rod. The 8" insert is securely fastened to the guide, stopping the rod from bending and keeping it in the center, safeguarding it from touching the rifling while cleaning. Choose the guide body to fit the specific cartridge your rifle is chambered for, then choose the insert with the inside diameter that fits your rod. To prevent solvent from getting into the action, both the guide body and insert are machined from Delrin with rubber O-ring seals. Bore guide bodies are available for the Remington 700 and other rifles with .700" diameter bolts.
