Our Centerfire Cleaning Rod Guides are designed to fit inside your action instead of the bolt or bolt carrier. They have a snout with an "O-ring made of silicone that is inserted into your chamber to seal off the barrel from the receiver. The "O-ring prevents solvents from leaking back into the action area and gumming up the trigger assembly. We currently have "O-ring rod guides for over 1000 different action/cartridge combinations. Each rod guide is machined to fit specific actions and cartridge families ranging from .17 up to .338 caliber. However, some rifle chamberings do not allow the use of an "O-ring style rod guide, so for these cartridges we recommend using one of our Adjustable Cone Style Rod Guides.

To improve our cleaning products for our customers, we have enhanced our Sinclair "O-ring rod guides to feature integral solvent ports. This upgrade now comes standard with every centerfire bolt action rod guide and nearly all AR-style rod guides. If you prefer a rod guide without an integral solvent port, please contact us by email or phone, and we will provide you with what you need. We treat these rod guides without solvent ports as semi-custom, so please allow for 2-4 weeks of delivery time. There are no additional charges for rod guides without integral solvent ports.

Our Sinclair Centerfire Cleaning Rod Guides will fit the following actions: Browning L70, Sako A3, A4, L61, Finnbear, 491, 591, 691, Howa 1500, Tikka, 595, 590, 695, and 690, Cooper 22, Savage AXIS, and Kimber 84 (WSM).
