Our Centerfire Cleaning Rod Guides are designed for use in place of your rifle's bolt or bolt carrier. They are designed with a snout that includes a silicone "O" ring which inserts into your chamber to seal the barrel off from the receiver. This "O" ring helps prevent solvents from leaking back into the action area, thereby preventing gumming up of the trigger assembly. We presently stock over 1000 different action/cartridge combinations of "O" ring rod guides. Each of these rod guides is machined to fit specific actions and cartridge families from .17 up to .338 calibers. However, some rifle chamberings are not suitable for "O" ring style rod guides, and for these rifles, we recommend using our Adjustable Cone Style Rod Guides.

At Sinclair, we always strive to enhance the cleaning experiences of our customers, and we have taken steps to improve our Sinclair "O" ring rod guides by including integral solvent ports in every centerfire bolt action rod guide and nearly all AR style rod guides. However, if you prefer a rod guide that does not come with an integral solvent port, kindly contact us via e-mail or phone number, and we will provide you with the desired rod guide.
