Our Centerfire Cleaning Rod Guides have been designed to replace your bold or bolt carrier by inserting them into your action. The snout contains a silicone "O" ring that fits into your chamber, effectively sealing off the barrel from the receiver. In doing so, the "O" ring prevents solvents from leaking and gumming up the trigger assembly in the action area. We currently have "O"-ring rod guides for over 1000 different action/cartridge combinations, and each rod guide is manufactured to suit specific actions and cartridge families, ranging from .17 to .338 caliber. However, some rifle chamberings are not compatible with the "O"-ring style rod guide, so we recommend using our Adjustable Cone Style Rod Guides instead.

In an attempt to enhance our ability to cater more efficiently to the cleaning requirements of our clients, we are pleased to announce that we have upgraded our Sinclair "O"-ring rod guides to incorporate integral solvent ports. This upgrade is included with every centerfire bolt action rod guide and almost all AR style rod guides that we offer. If you prefer a rod guide without an integral solvent port, please phone or email us, and we will gladly provide you with what you require. Please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery of rod guides without solvent ports since they would be considered semi-custom. There is no additional charge for rod guides without integral solvent ports.
