Our Centerfire Cleaning Rod Guides are designed to fit in place of your bolt or bolt carrier, and come with a snout featuring a silicone O-ring that seals the chamber and prevents solvents from leaking back into the action area, which could gum up the trigger assembly. We currently stock O-ring rod guides for over 1,000 different action/cartridge combinations, machined to fit specific actions and cartridge families ranging from .17 up to .338 caliber. However, some rifle chamberings are not compatible with an O-ring style rod guide, and for those we recommend our Adjustable Cone Style Rod Guides.

To better meet the cleaning needs of our customers, we have upgraded our Sinclair O-ring rod guides to include integral solvent ports with every centerfire bolt action rod guide and almost all AR style rod guides. If you prefer a rod guide without an integral solvent port, please contact us by e-mail or phone and we will happily provide one, with a delivery time of 2-4 weeks. These rod guides without solvent ports will be treated as semi-custom, and there will be no additional charge.

Our rod guides are compatible with a variety of actions, including Borden Rimrock, COOPER 54 & 22, COOPER 16(WSSM), BRNO, Browning A-Bolt, CPS, Dakota Arms Model 76, GA Precision Templar, Stiller Viper, Enfield Model 1917, Grunig Elmiger, Hart, Herter Model V9, Husqvarna Model HVA & M8000, HS Precision, Mauser Model 3000, Mauser 38 Swedish Target, Mauser 98 type, McMillan Signature, Remington (all 700, 600 & 7), Ruger Model 77 short and 77 long, S & W Model 1970, Savage 110, 112, 11, 12, Springfield 03A3, Stolle (all), Tanner, Weatherby, Varmitmaster, and Winchester (pre-2010 FN production).

Please note that the FN versions of the Model 70 do not all have .700 bolt diameters, and have fixed ejectors, requiring a slot to be milled down the length of the rod guide body. Therefore, any Model 70 made after 2010 that has FN and not Winchester New Haven Connecticut stamped on the receiver is considered a custom rod guide, and the bolt diameter must be checked.
