The seater mentioned here has a spring loaded bullet seating stem with precise fitting which ensures positive alignment as the bullet and case move up. It also has a micrometer adjustment on the seating stem, which makes it easier to set and record the bullet seating depth. The micrometer is infinitely adjustable and calibrated in increments of .001 inch, and includes a zero set feature. It does not feature any crimping features and should be crimped using a separate Redding Profile Crimp or Taper Crimp die. This seater can be used with most progressive reloading presses and is compatible with both the handgun and straight wall cases.
