The seaters have a spring loaded precision fitting bullet seating stem for ensuring positive alignment as the bullet and case move up into the seater. The seating stem also features a micrometer adjustment for easily setting and recording bullet seating depth, with calibration in .001 inch increments, infinite adjustability and a zero set feature. However, the seater has no crimping features, and crimping should be done separately using a Redding Profile Crimp or Taper Crimp die. The Competition seating die for the handgun and straight wall cases can be used with most progressive reloading presses.
