Bottleneck rifle and pistol cases require full length die sets which include a sizing die and a seater die. The sizing die will adjust the shoulder bump of the case when mounted in the press. To achieve the correct shoulder bump, we recommend using a cartridge headspace gauge tool. The body of the case is sized by the full length die to ensure easy chambering upon firing, and spent primers are decapped. Lubrication of cases is necessary before full length sizing.
