Hornady offers a kit that is easy for users to operate and utilizes the press's leverage to remove a stuck case without causing any harm to the die. The kit includes a #7 drill, a 1/4"-20 tap, and the remover body. By drilling and tapping a hole in the case's bottom through the primer pocket, one can easily install the remover body in the shellholder ram and use the press's leverage to extract the case. It works with most presses that have a universal shellholder ram, such as Hornady, Redding, RCBS, and others.
