Forster offers a neck turning tool that is user-friendly and portable. This tool helps improve cartridge-to-cartridge consistency by ensuring a consistent wall thickness for each case. The tool includes a carbide cutter that can be precisely adjusted using a micrometer-style knob. Additionally, the aluminum holder securely retains cases up to .592" base diameter with a simple turn of a knob. If your cases have a larger base diameter (up to .812"), a large case holder is also available. However, a pilot specific to the case mouth diameter is required and must be purchased separately. Forster provides a table below for reference, and the pilots are precision-ground to be .002" to .0025" smaller than the bullet diameter.
