Forster offers a hand-held neck turning tool that is user-friendly and can help achieve cartridge-to-cartridge consistency. The tool has a carbide cutter with an adjustment knob, enabling precise removal of material to ensure cases have a consistent wall thickness, and allowing for better bullet-to-bore alignment. The aluminum holder holds cases securely with a simple turn of the knob, accommodating a base diameter of up to .592". For larger cases with a base diameter from .593" to .812", there is a large case holder available. A pilot, sold separately, is required and must be specific to the case mouth diameter. The pilots are precision-ground and .002" to .0025" smaller than the bullet diameter. Table below shows the pilot sizes available.
