The resulting Acraglas Gel was formulated to take advantage of the latest advancements in epoxy research, incorporating Nylon Derivatives that yield greater thin strength, shock resistance and stability. It exhibits slightly less shrinkage than Acraglas, boasting a remarkable 1/10th of 1%.

Featuring a 1-to-1 mixing ratio, Acraglas Gel produces a stable, molecular lattice structure that resists cracking, crazing and sugaring out – a benefit not found in other 1-to-1 epoxies. Additionally, this mix ratio simplifies the accurate measurement of small amounts while providing a slightly longer pot life for greater user control.

The molecular structure of Acraglas Gel has been engineered to remain slightly flexible for the first few hours after it sets, allowing for easier trimming of excess compound during the bedding process. It can be readily blended with atomized aluminum, steel, and stainless steel particles, enabling users to create custom reinforced epoxies. The standard mix for best results is 1 part metal particles-to-3 parts mixed Acraglas Gel by volume.
