With these two specially ground punches, fitting the 870 ejector spring and housing onto Remington’s unique 2-step rivet becomes incredibly easy. The #1 tool features a hole in the face that lets you affix the ejector housing to the receiver with the lower section of the rivet. The #2 tool allows you to secure the ejector spring within the ejector housing using the upper segment of the rivet. The Deluxe Kit offers a combination of the aforementioned two punches with an ejector spring rivet cutter that enables you to remove only the peened area of the front rivet, and often even lets you re-peen the present rivet.
