Looking for an efficient way to fit the 870 ejector spring and housing onto Remington's distinct 2-step rivet? Look no further! With the help of two specially ground punches, this task is a breeze. Here's how: using the #1 tool, fasten the ejector housing to the receiver with the lower part of the rivet, thanks to the hole in the face of the tool. Then, with the #2 tool, secure the ejector spring within the ejector housing using the upper portion of the rivet. The Deluxe Kit includes these two punches as well as an ejector spring rivet cutter, which assists in effortlessly removing only the peened area of the front rivet. In many cases, this allows for easy re-peening of the existing rivet.
