Looking for an easy and fast way to clean and polish older barrels or give new ones a mirror finish? Look no further than the Flex Hone®! This tool features hundreds of abrasive balls mounted on a flexible shaft, making it easy to use with a variable speed electric drill. To use, simply wet the hone with Flex Hone® oil and insert it into the barrel from the breech end (if possible). As the hone cuts, a slurry of abrasive and oil develops to speed up the process. For used barrels, use the Medium-Coarse hone followed by the Fine hone to remove rough and tight spots and bring the bore to a bright finish. For new barrels, the Fine hone alone will bring the factory finish up to a beautiful, mirror-bright finish. The Flex Hone® is available in sets and individual hones for 10, 12, 16, and 20 gauge barrels, as well as .410 bore. Special-sized hones are also available for 10, 12, 16, 20 gauge chambers, and .410 bore.
