Looking for an easier, faster way to clean and polish older barrels or put a mirror finish on new ones? Look no further than our Flex Hone® abrasive balls, mounted on a flexible shaft. We recommend using the Medium-Coarse hone followed by the Fine hone on used barrels to remove rough and tight spots, leaving the bore with a bright finish you can see and feel. Even tight spots can be found during honing and corrected with extra time. On new barrels, the Fine hone alone will bring the factory finish to a beautiful mirror-bright finish. To use, simply chuck the Flex Hone® into a variable speed electric drill, wet it with Flex Hone® oil, start the drill, and insert it into the barrel from the breech end (if possible). The Flex Hone® will create a slurry of oil and abrasive as it cuts. Available in sets and individual hones for 10, 12, 16, 20 gauge barrels, as well as .410 bore, with special-sized hones for 10, 12, 16, 20 gauge chambers and .410 bore. Instructional steps are provided for perfect results. Please note that Flex Hone® oil must be used, as other oils will destroy the abrasive balls and void our guarantee. Maximum speed of 750 RPM, and avoid excess pressure. Check out our Flex-Hone PDF for more information.
