Looking for an easy and effective way to clean and polish older gun barrels or create a mirror polish in new barrels? Look no further than the Flex Hone. This product features hundreds of abrasive balls mounted on a flexible shaft for efficient and effective cleaning and polishing. For used barrels, start with the Medium-Coarse hone followed by the Fine hone to remove rough and tight spots and leave the bore with a bright finish. You'll see and feel the difference - just run a patch through it before and after cleaning! On new barrels, the Fine hone alone can bring the finish up to a beautiful, mirror-bright shine. To use, simply chuck the hone into a variable speed electric drill, wet it with Flex Hone® oil, and start the drill, inserting the hone into the barrel from the breech end (if possible). As the hone cuts, a slurry of abrasive and oil helps speed up the process. The Flex Hone is available in sets and individual hones for multiple gauges as well as .410 bore, and special-sized hones are also available for specific chamber size. Follow the instructions for the perfect job and use only Flex Hone® oil to avoid voiding the guarantee. Remember to avoid excess pressure and keep the RPMs under 750. Check out the Flex-Hone PDF for more information.
